Marquette Sculpting #Part 2

21 October 2021 – Diploma in Special FX & Prosthetic Makeup Artistry Level 5 Assessment – Cut Above Academy Auckland

As part of our face casting assessment, we had to choose two designs for marquettes.
Dwarf Warrior is my second chosen design;

In folklore or fantasy literature, a dwarf is a member of a mythical race of short, stocky humanlike creatures who are generally skilled in mining and metalworking.

Gender: Male

Age: 35

Nationality: Antonican

Hometown; Castleview

Background Story; Tawl had a rough childhood and got into more than his share of fights as a young dwarf. He was a troubled dwarf, acting out and running away from his clan at a young age. He missed out on a simple life as an armorer or weapon-smith, choosing the path of fighter. He joined a group of mercenary on his travels through the realms, proving his fighting skills with his hammer. After some years away from home, he learned that his clan was attacked by a group of Orcs trying to get hold of weapons from the village. Many of his clan members were angry at him for leaving, but he showed his worth and was useful helping his clan defend the village of Castleview.

After the battle he sadly bid farewell to his family and friends and traveled back to his mercenary company’s home base in the mountains.

This middle aged warrior has seen many battles and his face will show old healed scarring. At 35 he is a veteran warrior and starting to show his age with lines and onset of grey hair.
