I decided to practice a sock mold for the second horn. It is definitely a harder process than the 2 part mold, but I persevered and in the end managed to come up with a satisfactory result.
The things I would do different: I used a bit much pinkysil in places and the mold is a bit thick in parts, and therefore not as easy to remove the cast. Also, I didn’t think when I plastered all the way including the tip of the horn and I had to saw away some of the plaster, so I can fit the mold together better. Leave the tip free, it’ll be easier to demold.
